Begin with Jesus.

Jesus does not leave us guessing what God is like. In his words, actions, death and risen life, the Father’s heart comes into view and the Spirit draws us into relationship.

What begins to emerge

God is not distant from the human story.

ONE begins with the Gospel of John, where we see God moving towards humanity: creating, illuminating, healing, serving, forgiving and dwelling among us.

Jesus makes God known

In Jesus, the unseen God comes close and makes the Father’s heart visible.

Life is received

John speaks of life as gift, relationship and participation rather than achievement.

The Spirit awakens us

The Holy Spirit opens our eyes to the love and life already moving towards us in Christ.

We are invited into communion

Jesus’ prayer is not for distance, but for humanity to share in the oneness of divine love.

John 17

“You, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us.”

Discovery, not performance.

ONE is not an invitation to prove ourselves to God. It is an invitation to awaken to Jesus, receive what he reveals and participate in the love that has always been his life with the Father in the Spirit.
